Hello!

My name is Hanna and I am an Earth scientist. Growing up in a household where my Mom kept written beauty techniques and recipes passed down from generations, my sister and I developed a passion early in life regarding the ancient beauty secrets of Persia and the entire Silk Road region.

“Seeb” in Farsi/Persian language means Apple and it is used as one of the 7 S’s in our Persian New Year known as Nowruz as “Haft-Seen” table as a symbol of health + beauty. Haft-seen isn an arrangement of seven symbolic items whose names start with the letter S, which is pronounces as “seen”, which is the 15th letter in the Persian alphabet. The Haft-seen table represents nature. The Persian new year is celebrated on the day of vernal equinox, marking the beginning of the spring on the Northern Hemisphere. We matched the word “Seeb” with the English word “Solace”, which means comfort + soothing. Since our brand is a bridge between Eastern and Western remedies, we decided that the brand name should include one Farsi word and one English word. Seeb+Solace is a representative of health + beauty products that are soothing to our beautiful skins.

Before launching Seeb Organics, my sister and I engaged in 9 years of extensive and incessant travel, research, and development with the sole aim of formulating unparalleled self-care + skin-care products that bridge ancient Eastern and modern Western remedies.

With the support of modern science, we were able to establish a technique to thin out our oil-based serums for faster absorption without losing its natural and biological properties.The resulting textures and formulas protect universal skin types, while also feeling natural and lightweight.

From our permaculture planting in Upper Ojai, California, to our Morocco co-operative plantation, and all of the specialized small-batch farms in between, Seeb ‘n Solace has meticulously sought out an international sourcing chain of healthy, conscientious, ethical farms: straight to your self-care and skin care regimen.

We relentlessly support the land, farmers, and communities wherein we source our distinguished plants and botanicals. Our saffron, hibiscus, and Argania (argan) farmers are predominantly women, which Seeb ‘n Solace pro-actively support by making sure they are taken care of, well-paid, and not exploited by first world corporations. Our brand supports over 1000 hard-working women on our three main co-managed farms.
